MEINERT-Silicone-Hoses
Meinert-Silicone-Turbocharger-Hoses has been specifically designed for the demanding requirements of truck, bus and rail applications. It is primarily designed for use in turbocharger and intercooler systems.
They can also be used in many other applications where the properties of silicone are preferable to those of other rubbers, e.g. their high temperature resistance.
Example of use:
- Turbolcharger systems
- Intercooler systems
- Hot air compressor systems
- Flexible joint between rigid pipes
Properties:
- Working temperature pending on type:
-50°C up to +180°C - blue type
-50°C up to +250°C - red type - Working pressure pending on diameter
from 1,6 bar up to max. approx. 28 bar - Diameter from approx. 6mm up to 152mm
- Manufacturing length up to max. 4m
- Excellent ozone-, UV- and weather resistance
Construction:
- Silicone reinforced with 3 or 4 plies of aramid resp. polyester fabric
- For high or low-pressure applications a galvanised spring steel wire helix may also be added
- An oil- / diesel-fluid resistance layer of fluor silicone can be supplied on request
- Production in different colours on request

- Straight cylindrical hoses - standard 1m fix length
- Elbows 45° / 90° / 135°
- Reducers
